To sync your contacts from Google and/or Apple, navigate to the left-hand side of the Contacts page and select the green ‘Sync Your Phone’ button located under Sync Your Contacts.

Enter your ‘Email address’ into the text field and then select either ‘Sign in with Google’ or ‘Sign In With Apple’.

When signing in with Google: you will be brought to a page where you will be asked to ‘Choose an account’. Select your desired Google account. Nylas.com will ask for access to services, and you will want to ensure that ALL 5 services are checkmarked; the sync will not be successful otherwise. Checkmark all the boxes and select ‘Continue’.

When signing in with Apple: you will be brought to a page where you will be asked to ‘Sign in to your email account’. Apple will require that you enter an app-specific password in order to proceed with your Apple ID. Enter this information and select ‘Sign In’.

If you do not know how to generate an app-specific password within Apple, follow these instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204397. A direct link may also be found on the main Contacts page by clicking the blue ‘?’ next to Sync Your Contacts.

Once you have signed in to either your Google or Apple account, you will enter the Sync Manager. This process may take 5 minutes or more to sync before you are able to finalize the import. When you are satisfied with the synced contacts, click the green ‘Import Contacts’ button.

Note that: multiple Google and Apple accounts may be synced at one time.

Accounts may be removed by selecting the red ‘trash can’ icon under ‘Connected Accounts’ in the Sync Your Contacts panel.
